proORCA historical background

proORCA company

The family company, based in Lyon since 1948 and created by Henri Janin, moved to Bellegarde in 1962 (small city near to the Swiss border of Geneva). At this time, the company specialised in the manufacture of percussion musical accessories such as drumsticks.

In 1984, the brand is launched by Gilbert Janin in answer to a constantly increasing demand for quality drumsticks.

Thanks to the know-how of Gilbert Janin and also Philippe Lalite (executive founder of "la Baguetterie" and marketing maker) proorca immediately gets well known artists.
